Black Myth Wukong is now available for the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms and the gaming community discovered a hidden boss fight that can be accessed after a little fetch quest. Players do not mind scavenging every square inch of an area to collect every little trinket and collectible, especially if the reward is worth the trouble and the game developers wanted players to work for these items to test their navigation skills and in combat.

Players Can Fight a Secret Boss in Chapter of Black Myth Wukong
The game developers spent years working on this ambitious project highlighting the rich lore and the nature of Chinese mythology. After shattering records on the PC platform according to the recent Steam charts, it is safe to say this game is a great first entry in a much larger and shared series of Chinese deities.
Players were captivated by the beautiful visuals and smooth gameplay that reminisce the intense combat and vibe of the popular Soulslike genre. Despite not being a Soulslike title, the game developers included several hidden collectibles like 6 of Buddha’s eyeballs scattered in the map that are needed before accessing a secret boss fight in Chapter 2, and one dedicated fan made a guide of each eyeball location with great detail.
It can be annoying to backtrack and run around in circles looking for an item; however, the guide shows the exact location of each eyeball and has shown alternate paths for players to avoid getting caught up in a fight with smaller minions roaming the area. In Squall Hideout, players can explore the region and collect eyeballs but have no idea what to do once they find them all.
Some players did not realize all of Buddha’s eyeballs could be delivered to a rocky figure that then reanimates into Shigandang, the secret boss. Once this boss is defeated, the Destined One will receive the Heart of Stone, Mind Core, and Skandha of Feeling, these are rare materials that are required to craft the Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff in a nearby shrine.

Sometimes, it pays off to explore the open regions, and the game developers hide secret bosses with worthwhile rewards. These items could make the experience much more convenient and less of a headache for some players and this could dissuade them from subscribing to other external online services.
Based on recent previews and initial reactions, the game is not for the faint of heart. It would be wise for players to stock up on resources and patience before taking on the role of the Destined One in his journey to face deadly foes. The Cloud-Patterned Stone Staff is a decent option to deliver a flurry of powerful attacks to anything in their way.
The Destined One’s cool, calm, and collected nature makes him look effortlessly menacing. It would be prudent to supply the character with the necessary items to help him not only look the part but be capable of delivering devastating attacks.
The eyeballs of Buddha may seem like an unlikely collectible that is needed to access a boss fight, but the developers have their ways. This is a positive approach to collectibles since there are gameplay benefits.
