Secret Invasion has too many secrets and no one can be trusted in the show. One of the leading stars of the show Cobie Smulders recently talked to People and revealed that the tone of the show is much different. Smulders further said that the show is darker than other MCU projects. “This series is much more dark in tone than ones previous. It’s hard to know who to trust.” she said.

“Secret Invasion shows us insight into the lives of agents working to keep Earth and its inhabitants safe,” Maria Hill actor said.

“Now, there is a major discovery of the Skrulls. Maria has been trying to get Nick Fury back to Earth to help with a multitude of problems but when the Skrulls become public knowledge, it finally gets his attention.”

Evidently, as Smulders revealed, both characters are likely to spend a lot of time onscreen, perhaps influencing each other and helping to save the world from the Skrulls. Hill has Fury’s attention now and they will continue fighting with quite a blaze in the Disney+ show.

So, the fans have many queries about her character. The Phase-5 Marvel show build the hype around her character remarkably well. “So the audience is in the dark as to what she has been up to,” Smulders said.

“I’d like to think that she’s been sipping Mai Tais on vacation somewhere after coming back from the Blip but most likely, she has been working on a mountain of backlogged issues.”

Smulders further said that the people in the MCU are the best part. “I have been so lucky to work with some of the most creative, talented, and kind people in the business,” she said. “Also, my kids think I’m cool sometimes,” Smulders added.
