While Cavill’s Warhammer 40k adaptation hangs on the line with the whole agreement deal going on, fans will get to see the world of Warhammer 40k first in Secret Level coming to Prime Video on December 10, 2024.

Henry Cavill has two extremely promising projects that would make die-hard fans and gamers happy if it is executed well. On one hand, he has the Warhammer 40k universe that he is overseeing and on the other, he and Chad Stahelski rebooting the Highlander franchise. In an interview with Collider, the Superman star revealed that he is a big fan of the original films.

He further stated that his reboot will dig deeper into the characters’ trials and tribulations along with the mythology of the franchise. Cavill’s sword work in the film will be far and above what audiences have seen him doing in his career. The Witcher star said,

I’m a lover of the original movies for better or for worse, but, my goodness, me. What we are doing with this is… we are going deep into the meat of these characters and their trials and tribulations. If you thought you saw me do swordwork before, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Stahelski has recently updated that the film will start shooting in January 2025 in Scotland (via Collider) and will hit theaters sometime in 2026. Additionally, Cavill will reunite with Guy Ritchie for the action thriller In The Grey which will also star Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza González. The film will hit theaters on January 17, 2025.
