Basically, SEGA’s main purpose for the Fast. Friends. Forever. campaign is to highlight how Sonic fans abide by the principles of unity, companionship, allegiance, and innovativeness both while playing the games and in real life. To officially launch the fresh new campaign, the official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel has uploaded a creative and fun trailer that also features original music to celebrate the blue blur’s fans and the core theme of friendship. In the Fast. Friends. Forever. launch trailer, fans from all across the world can be seen bonding with each other over various aspects of the franchise. It goes to show just how impactful the blue hedgehog has been on so many people’s lives, no matter the medium.
At the end of the Fast. Friends. Forever. launch trailer, the official team has a special message for the fans who have supported the franchise throughout the years. It simply says “THANK YOU, FRIENDS!” and gets the whole point across in just three words. It’s these small gestures that truly count, creating a connection between the franchise’s team and its fanbase, as it makes the latter feel appreciated.

The Sonic ‘Fast. Friends. Forever.’ Campaign Activations
The newly launched Fast. Friends. Forever. campaign will last all through summer and will feature tons of Sonic-themed events and activations, which include:
- The Sonic Symphony World Tour, that will feature the titular character and his companions jamming to the most iconic tunes from the video game series, including the upcoming Sonic Superstars that comes out in the fall. The locations for this tour include major cities, including London and Los Angeles.
- A new four-panel digital comic series created by the community, which will feature work from talented artists from across the globe. The first issue was just released on August 8th, and the coming months will see the release of 14 more.
- A website dedicated to the campaign, that will highlight and list all the events and activities while also featuring additional content for the franchise, including bios for all of the major characters, spotlights, and digital comics.
- A new season of TailsTube, that will feature Sonic‘s iconic sidekick, Tails, going off on exciting adventures.
