For those who do not know about what went down during the whole CryptoZoo scandal, here is a quick recap:

CryptoZoo was a play-to-earn game that revolved around NFTs which was supposed to be launched in September 2021, created by Logan Paul. The YouTuber paraded his idea around, flaunting its revolutionary idea that would allow players to make real money while playing the game. The venture would utilize its own cryptocurrency, ZooCoin, with which they could purchase ‘Eggs.’ This would allow users to hatch random animals and breed them, creating unique images that would serve as NFTs.

Long story short, people ended up losing the money they had invested in the game after it failed to launch. The scandal was exposed by YouTuber, Coffeezilla. Responding to the backlash, Paul stated that he kept a whopping $1.8 million aside to compensate those who lost the money, all while simultaneously working on developing and releasing the game. Neither of the two things has happened to this date and people have not forgotten about it.

Internet personality, Sneako, posted his reaction to Paul looking at Agdal’s ring before he proposed. Given the fact that the size of the ring is massive, Sneako commented, “He should sell that right now. Sell this ring and pay back all the people that you scammed with CryptoZoo.”

Social media seems to be in agreement with Sneako. Here are just a few examples of users who are berating Paul for giving such an expensive ring to Agdal while he is yet to reimburse the people who invested in his failed project.

It is not known how much the ring exactly cost Paul. However, on the Impaulsive podcast, Agdal, who is in love with her ring, stated that the ring’s cost goes up to six digits.

This controversy has been brought up in the events leading up to his fight with Dillon Danis. Another YouTuber who goes by the name JiDion got into an altercation with Paul while backstage at a press event. After this, JiDion stated that he would be betting $100,000 on Danis and if he won, all the money he made would go to the people who lost their money to CryptoZoo.

It does not seem like many are rooting for Paul in this fight.
