While every agent in Valorant is unique, they don’t really belong to their tribes. Their abilities and roles don’t really go hand-in-hand. Perhaps the devs should reconsider the roles. Maybe if Agent Chamber, the Frenchmen from Sentinels, is sent to Duelists, that might fit the bill.
Fans are annoyed about this already and expressed it in a recent conversation sparked on social network Reddit. As of now, Sentinels consists of five agents other than him, including Killjoy, Cypher, Sage, and Deadlock. Maybe it’s time to swap the Frenchman and let him follow his calling with Duelists.
Maybe Duelist is a Better Role for the Valorant Agent
Killjoy finds joy in using technology to its fullest extent. Cypher is more into the secret stuff. Sage really likes to stick to her role by offering the help as best as she can. That leaves us with Deadlock and Chamber. Both appear to be aggressive, but the former takes protocol really seriously.
The latter is willing to attain whatever he wants by any means possible, even if that means going head-to-head with his enemies. Valorant fans highlighted his features in the game and now they are questioning his role as a Sentinel.
Chamber needs a rework because how is he a Sentinel?

Just recently, some fans entered a conversation to buff Fade, an Initiator. Looks like the Frenchman needs it too, according to this one fan.

Whatever the case, at least he doesn’t make the lives of users playing the game hard like some other agents.
Some Fans Have Just the Perfect Riposte for Him
Some fans still question his role, but he still is a Sentinel. The role basically requires on to hold down a site by whatever means they can. This Sentinel kind of likes to do that, and by whatever means he can.
One of the fans have a legit argument to prove that true.

As per his story in the game, he is a well-armed weapons designer with a violent streak. His custom-built arsenal is what he uses to hold down the site. As the adage goes, “the best defense is a good offense“, and he quite fits in that bill too.
But that doesn’t go without saying that he can don both the hats and still be able to excel both the roles. After all, the standards he has set for the team and himself that asks for “whatever it takes” to get what they want.
