Seth Rogen made his acting debut with Judd Apatow’s teen comedy-drama Freaks and Geeks and he has since worked with the filmmaker on multiple projects. Starting with comedic roles, he soon started taking dramatic roles and is known for giving his best on screen. While he did gain fame and recognition for his performances, the actor has expressed his desire to be known for being the man who attacked The Beatles singer Paul McCartney.
Seth Rogen Had an Unusual Desire to Attack The Beatles Singer
The rock band The Beatles is considered to be one of the most influential music bands of all time. While the group consisted of four members, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, like many other music bands, some of them received more attention from the fans than others.
In The Beatles’ case, it has been Paul McCartney. The craze for the singer-songwriter and his band has been prevalent over the years. And seems like actor Seth Rogen is also among the fans of the band. The actor reportedly got the opportunity to be around the singer at a fundraiser.
After seeing himself in the same room with him, the Knocked Up actor was fantasizing about kicking McCartney in the crotch. “There was a point where he was three feet away from me,” he said, as per IMDb, before explaining that he believed that he’d become famous if he attacked McCartney there.
“All I kept thinking was, ‘If I run up and kick him in the crotch right now, I’ll be the most famous man alive,” he said. The actor reportedly stated that he believed that after doing so, his name would be on every news channel, and he would be known as the man who kicked the world-famous singer without any reason. Fortunately, the Primetime Emmy nominee was able to resist his desire at the time.
Seth Rogen Got Brutally Honest About the Oscars
Seth Rogen is known for speaking his mind and placing his thoughts up front, whether it’s for calling out critics, stating his unusual desires surrounding a Beatles member, or addressing the lack of viewership for the Academy Awards ceremony.
In 2021, the Oscars, along with several other award ceremonies, including Emmys, Golden Globes, and Grammys, telecast noted a fall in its viewership. Addressing the issue, the Neighbors actor said that maybe people don’t care about the “awards they shower upon themselves.” He further told Insider, “Maybe they did for a while, and they stopped caring. And why should they?” referring to one of the most prestigious awards in the film industry.
