Just when people thought that the controversies and negative press around the now-disgraced actor Will Smith couldn’t get any worse, especially after his wife Jada Smith revealed that she and him have been secretly separated for seven years, they got a lot worse.
A recent interview with his former assistant Brother Bilaal went viral, where he claimed that the star had an affair with fellow star Duane Martin in the past has pushed his reputation further into the furnace. Not only has it tarnished Smith’s reputation, but has also managed to upset his son Jaden Smith, who revealed in the past that he was a sexually fluid individual.
Will Smith’s Gay Allegations Have Affected Jaden Smith A Lot
The first major blow to his illustrious reputation that he created by contributing to the film industry for so long came with his infamous Slapgate incident in 2022 during the 94th Academy Awards. And now, Will Smith finds himself yet again in another sea of controversy when his former assistant revealed that he had an affair with actor Duane Martin in the past, allegedly revealing his sexuality as gay.
Naturally, this has hurt Smith the most since this came from someone he considered a friend, but it seems like Jaden Smith may have taken this worse than anyone else.

A report by Daily Mail recalled the time back in 2018 when The Karate Kid star was performing at the Camp Flog Gnaw carnival, and while on stage, he said that fellow artist TylerTheCreator was his boyfriend, also revealing that he was sexually fluid. This, in turn, put him into trouble with his parents because Will Smith had also faced gay allegations before.
But someone as close to the star as his assistant Brother Billal came out claiming that he saw him and Martin having intercourse in a dressing room has certainly reheated these allegations. Smith has said that this is nothing more than a well-orchestrated smear campaign, for which he seeks to take legal action as it has hurt him and his family tremendously.

While this new allegation of his affair may be the latest one on the block, it’s far from the only controversy that he’s been a part of recently.
When his now ex-wife Jada Smith was having her press tour to promote her newly-released memoir, titled Worthy, she dropped a bomb, where she stated that she and her husband had been basically separated from each other since 2016. This has not only shattered his reputation but also questioned his actions on the night of the 94th Academy Awards Ceremony.
