It is a known fact that Miquella was a good companion to Godwyn the Golden, as they were step-brothers. He even tried to give him a true death as only his soul was taken away, and his body remained intact, but he failed to do so. The following theory suggests how we might be seeing a return of Godwyn in the upcoming DLC.

Insane Theory Predicts The Return Of Godwyn The Golden In Elden Ring

The aforementioned YouTuber revealed how the key art for the upcoming DLC reveals what seems to be Miquella on the Torrent amongst a wheat field. The character is also shown to be facing what seems to be the burned-down Erdtree after the events of Elden Ring.

All of this alludes to how the ash of the burning Erdtree has covered the sky, blocking the sun and the light coming from it. This in turn allows Godwyn, the prince of death himself, to spread his deathblight under the ashes of the Erdtree and without any light, eventually returning his soul to his body.

Will There Be A New Secret Ending In Elden Ring?

For now, there are 6 endings that a player can achieve in Elden Ring. However, fans have started speculating that we might soon see a new ending, consisting of Miquella’s quest to usher in a new age.

It is known that Miquella is the son of Queen Marika and Radagon, making him an empyrean, as his parents are halves of a single empyrean entity. This makes him eligible to be able to become the god of the new age, something many consider he was planning to do.
