Over the years, award-winning actress and producer Sandra Bullock has earned quite a name for herself. But it looks like her fans weren’t the only ones swooning over her. The Matrix star Keanu Reeves had taken a strong penchant for Bullock and even admitted to it out loud on a talk show.
Ironically enough though, the Ocean’s 8 actress too had been infatuated with Reeves around the same time that he’d expressed his feelings. Although the two stars worked together on more than one occasion, they never got involved in a romantic relationship of any sort. Right person, wrong timing really is a thing, isn’t it?
Keanu Reeves Used to Crush On Sandra Bullock
Speaking with Ellen DeGeneres in a 2018 interview, Sandra Bullock gushed about the Canadian actor and just how much she admired him. “I think about how sweet Keanu Reeves was and how handsome,” The Lost City actress cooed. “It was hard for me to really be serious. He would look at me and I’d be like [giggles].”
In an amusing twist of fate though, when Reeves appeared on The Ellen Show just a few months after Bullock’s confession, he too, put his feelings out in the open. “She obviously didn’t know I had a crush on her either,” the John Wick star said.
Bullock and Keeves first crossed paths way back in 1994 when they starred in Jan de Bont’s action/thriller titled Speed. The pair later joined forces again in the 2006 romance, The Lake House, wherein their on-screen chemistry sparked rumors with regard to their off-screen relationship. Though they never dated, Bullock, in an interview with Esquire, did mention how they would’ve “survived” as a romantic couple if they would’ve ever been together. She even remarked how completely in “awe” she was of the Constantine actor.
If only they’d come clean about how they really felt for each other sooner, maybe Keanu Reeves would’ve been with Bullock instead of Matthew McConaughey who she dated for two long years after working with him on A Time to Kill (1996).

One of the most successful and influential Hollywood actresses, Bullock is still going strong with Bryan Randall, who she started dating about eight years ago in 2015. Cherishing her privacy, The Proposal star is happily yet discreetly going on about her life with Randall and her children. With a whopping net worth of $250 million, it’s safe to say that Bullock is enjoying her life to the fullest.
Reeves too is locked with his long-time partner, Alexandra Grant who he has known since 2011. Although their relationship timeline is a little hazy, the pair made their romance official somewhere around 2019. They’ve kept their private life as low-key as they can but it seems that Reeves and Grant still share the same unbreakable bond and are more in love than ever.
