The scoops never stop coming in for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s Deadpool & Wolverine. Several scoopers have reported the appearance of one crucial character from the original X-Men movies, specifically from Logan. It is reported that Dafne Keen’s Laura Kinney / X-23 will appear in the film alongside a bunch of other superheroes to fight Cassandra Nova’s league of supervillains. Keen herself has hinted at her potential role in the film in a recent interview.
Her somewhat cryptic answer to the question about her appearance has given fans some hope to see her in Deadpool 3. Interestingly, Channing Tatum’s Gambit and Jennifer Garner’s Elektra are two other characters who are reported to appear alongside X-23 in the film.
Fans Are Convinced Hugh Jackman’s Daughter From Logan Will Make An Appearance In Deadpool 3
Deadpool & Wolverine is expected to make several callbacks to Fox’s X-Men characters, with rumors spreading that many of these characters will appear in the film. One such character who was speculated to appear in the film was Dafne Keen‘s X-23. However, when she recently appeared in an interview with the Brazilian site Omelete, she gave an answer that made fans confirm that she was in the movie. When asked if she would be returning alongside Hugh Jackman in Deadpool 3, Keen shared that she couldn’t wait. Marvel scooper @MyTimeToShineH reported earlier this week that Channing Tatum’s Gambit will appear in the film after years of speculation about him playing the character in Fox’s X-Men movies. The scooper also added that Jennifer Garner‘s Elektra and Dafne Keen’s X-23 would also appear in the film (via Murphy’s Multiverse).

The scooper had an interesting theory about the possible interaction between her character X-23 and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. The theory stated Laura Kinney would explain what happened to Logan in her timeline to the Wolverine variant in Deadpool 3. Fox’s Logan’s sacrifice will potentially make a huge impact on this Logan.

It would be a fitting narrative for Deadpool & Wolverine that seeks not to ruin the beautiful ending given to the character in James Mangold’s Logan. The story of the other Logan’s sacrifice could finally push this Logan to step up and save the multiverse along with Ryan Reynolds‘ Wade Wilson.
Deadpool & Wolverine is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 26, 2024.
