Over the past few years, Prince Harry’s relationship with the British royal family has deteriorated. In 2018, the dukedom of Sussex was granted to Prince Harry, right before his marriage to former actress, Meghan Markle. The marriage announcement left the members of the Royal Family shocked and damaged Prince Harry’s bond with his family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties and moved to California in 2020. Since then, the two have subtly exposed the royal family for treating the couple in a harsh manner. Recently, royal butler Paul Burrell, who served as Princess Diana’s butler for 10 years, has accused Meghan Markle of using people for her own good.
Royal butler accused Meghan Markle of being a “predator“
Paul Burrell, a royal butler who worked for Princess Diana for 10 years, recently accused Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, of being a “predator.” Burrell appeared for an interview with GBNews and was asked about the tensions between the royal couple and David and Victoria Beckham. The butler said,
“People are beginning to feel they are being used by Meghan. Meghan is a predator. She will use people and drop them when she’s finished with them. She sucks them dry, and then, they’ll be gone.”
As per sources, David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham were “furious” when they discovered the rumors about them leaking stories about the couple to the mainstream media.
The royal couple was not invited to Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding
The problems between the Beckhams and the royal couple has been cooking up for quite some time now. In April 2022, David Beckham’s son, Brooklyn Beckham, got married to Nicola Peltz. Everyone was present at the event except Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Burrell also talked about the feud,
“The Beckhams don’t need Harry and Meghan. They’re A-list celebrities in their field. Isn’t it sad? The Beckhams were there at the wedding, as were the Obamas and the Clooneys. However, where are they now? They’re beginning to see who Harry and Meghan are. They don’t want to be in the same sphere as them.”
Prince Harry and David Beckham first met at a FIFA reception in 2010 and reportedly became friends almost instantly.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry abandoned their royal duties
In May 2018, Prince Harry got married to Meghan Markle. This wedding caused a rift within the British royal family. A source claimed at the time, “[Prince] William was blindsided by Harry and Meghan’s decision and statement,” adding that Prince William was incredibly hurt.
In January 2020, Prince Harry and his wife decided to abandon their royal duties and move to California with their son, Archie. In 2021, the royal couple attacked the British royal family exposing their dark side and harsh treatment, which further damaged Prince Harry’s relationship with his family. There are still tensions within the British royal family, but Prince Harry once claimed that he is ready to have a civil conversation with them.
