The Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, reminisced about an unfortunate encounter during the filming of Snow White and the Huntsman. In the 2012 reimagining of the classic German folklore, that has been a part of literally everyone’s childhood, Hemsworth portrayed the role of Eric the Huntsman, going on an epic journey that reshaped the timeless tale into a rugged lore jam-packed with faceoffs, and a diverse cast of enchanting magical creatures, all in all a visual treat. Alongside him, the stellar ensemble featured Kristen Stewart as the iconic Snow White and Charlize Theron as the sinister queen.

During the retelling of the story, a part showcased Snow White running away from the evil queen Ravenna who then employs Eric to capture the princess. However, as Eric continues to chase the beautiful Snow White in the woods, and grows closer to her, he has a change of heart and decides to protect her from Ravenna instead. Therefore amidst all the chaos, in a scene where Eric attempts to capture Snow White, Kristen Stewart is supposed to throw a punch to protect herself, through a scripted stage punch, unexpectedly the actress in the heat of the moment delivers a genuine blow to Chris Hemsworth.

What Was the Real Reason Behind Chris Hemsworth Being Angry?

Throughout this incident, even though Chris Hemsworth received an unexpected punch, he welcomed the unexpected turn of events with enthusiasm, appreciating the added authenticity it brought to the scene. In the GQ interview, he stated,

“Oh yeah, I was more upset she didn’t continue on through the take. She kind of hit me and immediately went, ‘Oh my god! I’m so sorry.’ I was like ‘That would’ve been the perfect, most truthful take we had. I think she was more upset than I was.”

While the actor initially felt upset by the unexpected punch, his frustration escalated when Kristen Stewart abruptly left the scene to apologize for her unintended action.
