Anne Hathaway, known for her iconic roles in movies like The Devil Wears Prada, Les Misérables, and The Dark Knight Rises, is at the center of a controversy. The Oscar-winning actress has been accused of being rude and acting like a b*tch at a charity event, leaving guests shocked and disappointed.

According to insiders, Anne Hathaway was allegedly a nightmare to deal with at the Pink Party Gala, a cancer research charity event. The actress reportedly sent a list of demands before agreeing to attend the event, including asking people not to approach her for photos and autographs. This behavior didn’t sit well with the other celebrities in attendance, who didn’t make any demands like Hathaway’s.

Demanding Breakfast and Rolling Eyes

As the event unfolded, Anne Hathaway allegedly continued to behave condescendingly and dismissively towards those who did try to speak to her. One source revealed that the actress was “so rude and acted like a b*tch….”:

This isn’t the first time Anne Hathaway has been accused of being difficult to work with. On the set of a commercial shoot, the actress reportedly sent her breakfast back four times, causing a major headache for the on-set chef. Despite receiving an English muffin, poached egg, and avocado, Hathaway wasn’t satisfied with her meal and sent it back each time.

The first time her meal was brought to her, the actress complained that her poached egg was too runny. The second time around, Anne Hathaway claimed that her English muffin was too cold because it had sat while the second egg was being poached.

The actress complained that her second poached egg was cold the third time because it had sat waiting for the English muffin to be warmed. After the chef finally got her meal just right on the fourth try, Anne Hathaway decided she was in the mood for a fried egg and wasted the entire meal she had originally ordered.

Acceptance Speeches and Sincerity

Anne Hathaway’s behavior doesn’t end there. Some have even criticized the actress for seeming insincere during her acceptance speeches. When Hathaway won numerous awards for her performance in Les Misérables, including an Oscar, many felt that her speeches lacked authenticity and emotion.

In an interview with The Guardian, Hathaway discussed her acceptance speech:

“It’s an obvious thing, you win an Oscar, and you’re supposed to be happy. I didn’t feel that way. I felt wrong that I was standing there in a gown that cost more than some people are going to see in their lifetime, and winning an award for portraying pain that still felt very much a part of our collective experience as human beings. I tried to pretend I was happy and I got called out on it, big time. That’s the truth and that’s what happened.”

While some may empathize with Hathaway’s sentiment, others believe her speeches were rehearsed and insincere. It’s no secret that Hollywood can be a cutthroat industry, and many celebrities have been accused of diva behavior. However, Anne Hathaway’s alleged rudeness and entitlement have disappointed many fans and industry insiders.
