A French bulldog is emerging as the biggest fan of The Witcher star on social media, where her owner shared clips and images of Cavill’s true fan. Heather Land, the owner of the dog, first noticed her dog’s interest in the Enola Holmes actor while she was watching The Witcher on TV. Rory, the French bulldog, would stare at the screen every time Cavill would appear. To confirm her dog’s fascination, Land watched Man of Steel with Rory.
“People were wondering if it’s the character Geralt that she likes or if she likes Henry Cavill, so I wanted to test that theory. I played Man of Steel for her so she could see Henry Cavill in a different role, and I was actually shocked that she sat and watched him the entire time he was on.”
Land even received suggestions from the internet to experiment if Rory would recognize the images of Henry Cavill. The results of the experiment concluded the fact that Rory’s fascination with Cavill is a real deal. Rory could easily differentiate the Man of Steel star from other actors who have resembling faces, as per her owner.

Heather Land described the information regarding the internet sensation’s new obsession with Cavill. Rory enjoyed a decent fanbase on social media platforms where her owner kept sharing cute content on the bulldog. Land added how Rory’s fans kept sending Cavill’s merch which slowly began to get collected and being made into a little shrine of Henry Cavill for Rory, which surely is adored by the French bulldog.
Land described Rory’s behavior to address the queries of viewers who were interested in knowing the true story. Land explained Rory’s action which proved that she is a true admirer of Cavill. Rory would stare at Cavill’s image several times a day and would never destroy Henry Cavill’s toys. As per the owner, Rory is not safeguarding her Cavill shrine violently but would get visibly upset if you take them away from her.
“First it started off as funko pops, a couple of posters, and a little plushie of him. Now she has pillows, blankets, and drawings of his face! She will bite, destroy and play with other toys, but never the ones of him. For her birthday in February, I might get her a cardboard cutout of him and see what she does”
