Tom Cruise’s eighth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. proved to be yet another exhilarating and adrenaline-pumping entry in the franchise. The film featured new cast members including Hayley Atwell, Esai Morales, and Pom Klementieff who all contributed to elevating the mystery and thrills of the film.
The latter played a menacing and cheeky antagonist named Paris in the film. By the end, people thought that the character died. Now, according to a recent social media post, Klementieff is returning for the next film in the franchise.
Pom Klementieff’s Paris Return in Mission Impossible: 8 Has Fans Stunned
Pom Klementieff made her entry into Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible franchise with the recent Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. She made a great impression as the antagonist Paris who has a significant evolution during the film. Many fans believed that she died at the end of the film as he is shot by Gabriel in the ending train sequence.
However, now actor Simon Pegg has confirmed that Klementieff’s character is indeed coming back for the eighth installment. In a recent Instagram post, he indicated that the character is hard to kill and hilariously called out those who thought she died at the end of the film. He captioned the post saying,
“Hard to kill! If you think you’ve seen the last of Paris… think again,”

Many fans seem to have missed out on the ending parts of the film when Greg Tarzan Davis’s character says that he can feel Paris’s pulse beating after supposedly falling unconscious. Her return is exciting news and fans will be ecstatic to see more of Paris as Ethan Hunt’s ally with more screen time in the next film.
Tom Cruise Refused to Kick Pom Klementieff During an Intense Fight Scene in MI: 7
Tom Cruise and Pom Klementieff had an intense face-off in one of the many action sequences in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Klementieff was ready to take on some beating and told Cruise to kick him for real during the fight. While Cruise is game for dangerous stunts, it seems he was reluctant to kick her co-star. Klementieff told Entertainment Weekly,
“I kept telling him to just kick me here. I was squeezing abs. [I said], ‘You can just go for it.’ He was like ‘No, no, no, no, no.’ I was like, ‘But it’s going to help me!’ But he wouldn’t do it.”
The character is set to return in the eighth installment which is currently shooting. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 23, 2025. Fans can rent and watch Paris in action in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One on Amazon Prime.
