After all the hype surrounding Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine, all eyes are on Blake Lively‘s recently released It Ends with Us. “Will it break her husband’s record or not?” is a question for another day. But as a supporting husband, the Deadpool actor was spotted at the New York premiere of her movie alongside Hugh Jackman.
While Lively and Reynolds were getting clicked as usual, a gesture by the actress towards Hugh Jackman caught everyone’s attention. In the midst of getting clicked, in a snippet shared on Instagram, the actress could be seen calling out to Jackman to join the duo for pictures.
This gesture of the actress had the comment sections of the said video filled with praises. One user named rounaldh commented “I think she just making sure Hugh won’t feel lonely cause he’s single now.” Another user named darsshh added, “I think Ryan and Blake adopted Hugh.”
Not only this, but one user named vishnuvichu0000 playfully referenced the close friendship between Reynolds and Jackman and added “Blake, Ryan, and his boyfriend Hugh.” Further, khaoula_kmlas pointed out that the Deadpool actor is jealous; as “Blake is between him and Hugh.” Others only had good words for the actress and Lida. Nicola added, “I love her; she’s funny and beautiful.”
The gesture was truly heartwarming and highlighted how much Lively cares about the Wolverine actor. It’s especially touching given that Jackman finalized his divorce from his wife of 26 years, Deborra-Lee Furness, last year. The couple had been married since 1996, making this act of kindness from Lively even more meaningful.
The Rumored Rift Between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni
In the midst of hype surrounding the recently released It Ends with Us, a different situation has piqued the interest of the fans. During the movie’s promotional tour, rumors surfaced about a possible rift between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. Further, despite the movie’s high profile, the actor has been noticeably absent from several events.
This included the New York Premier, where he did not pose with the co-stars or introduce the movie. Interestingly, Lively also does not follow Baldoni on Instagram, further adding fuel to the speculation. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, creative differences might have been the cause of the disagreements.
Given Baldoni is helming the director’s chair and Lively has taken on the producer duties, both the celebrities are yet to comment on this.
