With an equal number of adopted and biological children, Angelina Jolie, the mother of six, reportedly plans to adopt yet again. Looking to expand her family even more, after separating from Hollywood’s heartthrob Brad Pitt, the Externals star is allegedly planning to adopt a child from Jamaica.
Previously adopting three of her children from Cambodia, Vietnam, and Ethiopia, Angelina Jolie has been quite proud of the heritage of each of her kids. Thus, with Jolie recently flying to the Caribbean island nation for a literary festival, insiders played their part in making headlines regarding her alleged plans to adopt another kid from Jamaica.
Angelina Jolie Allegedly Plans To Adopt Another Child
Although Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are not together anymore, they are still proud parents to their six children. Jolie had always been optimistic and open about adoption, and thus took the decision to adopt her first child Maddox Chivan in 2002, from an orphanage in Cambodia. Three years later, following her first adopted child, the actress expanded her family with Zahara Marley from Ethiopia.
Eventually, Angelina Jolie expanded her family with Brad Pitt, by welcoming their first daughter Shiloh Nouvel in 2006. Following the birth of her first child, the actress adopted another child, Pax Thien, from Vietnam. Further completing her household in 2008, the couple welcomed their twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline. Having six children in the house, Jolie and Pitt had a lot to handle.
Now, after Angelina Jolie finalized her divorce from Brad Pitt and her six children have began growing up, the actress is feeling the need to expand her family all over again. Previously discussing with Globe in 2020, a source revealed, Jolie “had planned to adopt at least one youngster for some time, but Brad said six was enough”. Thus, after separating ways with Pitt, the actress regained her desire to adopt another child.

Despite being busy with her six children over the years, Angelina Jolie yet again plans to adopt her next child. Habituated with children running around in her house, Jolie is currently feeling lonely following her divorce and her growing and independent kids. Thus, sources reveal, the actress is hoping to add another bundle of joy to her brood.

Adding fuel to the speculations, the actress even flew to the Caribbean island nation to attend a literary festival. “Angelina has been talking about adopting another child for over a year now” sources revealed.
“With Maddox and Pax off doing their own thing and Zahara away at college in Atlanta, she’s really suffering from empty-nest syndrome.” insiders shared with New Idea Magazine.
While Angelina Jolie is reportedly excited to adopt, sources mentioned, her kids are “just as excited as she is”. Struggling to meet the right partner following her divorce, Jolie is feeling “lonely as hell”. However, she believes, adopting a child is “better than anything she could ever get from a man”. Moreover, with her kids growing up and becoming independent, the Maleficient actress is missing “the bustle of having young kids” depending on her for everything.
Thus, Angelina Jolie reportedly plans to adopt another child. Looking forward to the moment for years following her divorce, the actress finally appears to be ready.
