Ryan Reynolds Reveals An Avengers Version Of Deadpool

On Twitter, actor Ryan Reynolds shared on his own account a fan art of Deadpool wearing the iconic Avengers suit. He wrote in the caption: “Someone must’ve seen Wade Wilson’s vision board.”

Fans are now wishing they could have seen this version in the movie as a Deadpool variant. Not only was it a nod to the fan base but also a dream come true for the character. At the start of the movie, Wade Wilson is seen applying for a job at Stark Towers to become an Avenger.

Despite not being ‘Avengers material’ because of the tone of his character and fondness for foul language, he’s probably the biggest fan of them. And so, the netizens have spoken and they wish Marvel boss Kevin Feige at least gave the audience a chance to have a glimpse of Deadpool as an Avenger. Check out their tweets below:

The Future Of Deadpool In The MCU

After the success of Deadpool & Wolverine, there’s always the question of what happens next to the character. Reynolds admitted in an interview with Variety how long he sees himself wearing Deadpool’s suit:

I don’t know. I could see any version of it. I can imagine a solo movie, being part of an ensemble. I can imagine that this is also the last time. I never feel anything other than that.

In another conversation with Collider, the Canadian actor confessed he has no idea when he’ll wear the costume again. He said, “Right now’s the time to just kind of hang it up for a bit and see what happens next.”

It might be too early to know what the future holds for Deadpool, but for this moment, it’s better to savor its box-office victory along with the unexpected return of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
