The late Carrie Fisher will always be Princess Leia in our hearts. But she also played multiple other roles in films like Wonderwell, Sorority Row, Bright Lights, and more. Apart from full-fledged roles, the actress had appeared in cameos in famous shows too.

One such show was Smallville. The CW show is often regarded as the predecessor of the Arrowverse and followed the adventures of a young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) as he slowly became Superman. Multiple high-profile stars cameoed in the series that ran for 10 seasons and one of them was Carrie Fischer.

In Smallville, Carrie Fisher had a small cameo in the fifth season. She appeared as Pauline Kahn, the Daily Planet editor. Michael Rosenbaum, who played Lex Luthor in the show, shared an interesting anecdote about her appearance. He said in his Inside of You podcast that they once found the actress in an unusual place. Rosenbaum narrated:

“[Carrie] did an episode of Smallville and they [the crew] were looking for her. They were looking for her and they found her in, you know those giant air-conditioning vents that they put on sets, the little worm-like things that are really big that blow cold air into the [set]? She was in one cooling off. [Laughs]”

Fisher’s cameo was memorable but it wasn’t the only one made by a star. The late Christopher Reeve also made an appearance in the show. After all, who better to cameo in a Superman show than the man who is known by everyone as the ideal man of steel. However, this wasn’t the only famous series Fisher stopped by. She also appeared in another long-running popular show.

When Carrie Fisher Met Her On-Screen Dad For The First Time

We know Darth Vader is Luke and Leia’s father, but even though Mark Hamill’s Luke met his on-screen dad, James Earl Jones, Carrie Fisher never did. But she finally got the chance in The Big Bang Theory. The actress cameoed in the show’s seventh season, episode 14, and there she met him for the first time. In the show, she played herself, who is pranked by Jones and Sheldon as they ring the doorbell to her house and run away.

She opens the door while holding a baseball bat and doesn’t find anyone on her porch. This was also the tongue-in-cheek joke of the show since Fischer didn’t meet her on-screen Darth Vader dad again this time as well. However, they did meet off-screen, and apparently the late actress’ first word to Jones was- “Dad!” Apart from Fischer, even Mark Hamill made a cameo appearance in The Big Bang Theory. So it looks like that was one show that was able to wrangle in three of the biggest Star Wars stars.
