It’s official, Snoop Dogg is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 as a guest operator, for the release of season five. He will be joined by Nicki Minaj and 21 Savage as part of an in-game celebration of the 50th anniversary of the hip-hop music genre. In addition to this collection of celebrity shooters, Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Warzone will be offering free hip-hop war tracks from August 7 to August 16. It will be a daily gift with music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s, however, we do not know at this time what songs will be included.

Snoop Dogg is a veteran to Call of Duty games, since he had his own downloadable pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts. He was also in Call of Duty: Vanguard and the original Call of Duty: Warzone as an operator. Because of his previous appearances, it unsurprising to see the rapper join Modern Warfare 2 and fans are already speculating over what kind of cannabis-themed skins he brings to the game.

Snoop Dogg will be the first of these three operators to release in the game, with the other two coming at a later date. Modern Warfare 2 has released images of Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj, but as for 21 Savage, his operator is considered redacted and not presently viewable.
