Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang Will Survive Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Rudd’s character Scott Lang is the thief-turned-superhero who plays the foundation in developing the time machine which later aided in reversing the effects of the blip by securing the Infinity stones from the past. Now that Thanos is defeated, MCU is looking forward to carrying forth the storyline by introducing another supervillain i.e, Kang The Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors. Majors’s Kang will be introduced properly in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which will soon kick start phase 5 of the MCU.
But there have been recent updates about Paul Rudd’s MCU character by Stephen Broussard, the VP of Production & Development at the MCU. Broussard has co-produced the hit Marvel movies which include Captain America: The First Avenger, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and also the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. In a recent interview, Broussard announced that the development of the Ant-Man 4 has already begun hinting that Rudd’s character Scott Lang will survive in the upcoming movie.
“We’re already thinking about it. It’s like, every movie’s its own battle and you bear the scars of making it and wanting to make it great. But hope springs eternal and you start to put yourself back together after the journey of making the movie. You’re like, ‘Yeah, what if we did X, and what if we did Y?’ Like the wheels start turning, you can’t help yourself. I don’t want to say anything about specifically what those are, but yeah, you can’t help yourself. Those conversations, those whispers have already started to happen between myself and Peyton and Kevin.”
