Pedro Pascal shares his story of escaping from the brutal regime of Chile

In his first SNL skit, Pedro Pascal started joking about a face time incident with a 6-year-old fan. But Pascal was soon overwhelmed by emotions after he explained to the audience about his parents and how they escaped with a 9-month-old Pascal and his sister from the repressive Chile regime. The actor’s voice started breaking as he went on to explain his parents’ heroic deeds. The Last of Us star then stated,

“They were so brave, and without them, I wouldn’t be here in this wonderful country, And I certainly wouldn’t be standing here with you all tonight.”

Pedro Pascal also shared love for his relatives, who are still living in Chile, and shared a heartfelt message for them by stating, “I love you, I miss you, and stop giving out my phone number”. The MCU actor Mark Ruffalo also applauded the actor after his SNL skit and shared love for the Narcos actor’s accomplishments over the years.
