During a behind-the-scenes featurette, Pattinson spoke about giving his iteration of the character a “do it yourself (DIY)” feel.
“The suit does not make him invincible, it’s just a few panels of bulletproof armor.”
Pattinson made the above statement, implying that his Batman suit was likely made in the Bat-cave by Bruce. Similarly, Pattinson also used the batmobile as an example to demonstrate the inventive side of his Batman.
“Even the Batmobile looks like something he’s built himself in his basement.”
