Tom Holland is the newest actor to take on the role of Peter Parker aka Spider-Man. Being the first character to join the MCU after Sony and Marvel Studios collaborated, Holland’s Spider-Man has stayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ever since.
Bringing in Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the trio has become a part of the MCU and Marvel is not ready to let go. According to speculations, the script for a fourth Spider-Man movie is already completed and it seems that the script is quite well written!
Tom Holland’s Fourth Spider-Man Film Is Very Well Written
It was back in 2017 when Tom Holland shined in the role of Peter Parker in the first MCU Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: Homecoming. With Michael Keaton as the villain, the film was widely praised for being true to the character of Peter Parker and Tom Holland’s fine acting.
The script was written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers who would continue to be an integral part of the MCU through their works. The duo also worked on Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home for the MCU. Having known the MCU up close and personal, it seems that Marvel Studios would most likely call upon the duo to write another Spider-Man film, and guess what happened!

Although it isn’t confirmed that a movie is indeed in the works, Tom Holland did talk about the future of Spider-Man after No Way Home. In an interview, the actor stated that the MCU had to have some sort of future planned for his character as they can’t just leave loose ends.
The MCU Cannot Leave Loose Ends For Spider-Man
In an interview, Tom Holland sat down to talk about the future of Spider-Man in the MCU. Stating that there was indeed going to be a next chapter for the character, The Crowded Room actor stated that he doesn’t know whether he will be in on it or not.
“Maybe it is time for me to move on. I have to take Peter Parker into account as well, because he is an important part of my life. If I’m playing Spider-Man after I’m 30, I’ve done something wrong.”
He further continued,
“I don’t know what the future of Spider-Man looks like. I don’t know whether I’m going to be a part of it. Spider-Man will always live on in me and I know that [producer] Amy [Pascal] and the studio are keen to figure out what the next chapter of Spider-Man looks like.”
The SAG-AFTRA and the WGA strike have indeed shut down many projects and developments in Hollywood. As such, the news isn’t confirmed but more and more evidence is gathered each day which could potentially ruin the MCU for spoiling too much. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Trilogy is currently available to stream on Disney+ in the U.S.
