Kalaripayattu is an Indian martial technique that developed in Kerala, a state on India’s southern coast. Kalaripayattu is one of the oldest surviving martial systems in India. Spider-Man Pavitr Prabhakar will display Kalaripayattu skills and moves in the film. Many netizens are excited after Kondo explained that they will be highlighting a real martial arts element in the movie.

Director Justin K. Thompson said he kept adding Spider-People in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

One of the directors of the newly released movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Justin K. Thompson spoke about the excessive number of Spider-People in the movie. Thompson as the Spider-People was the most significant aspect of the movie they kept adding them and he lost the account. When the director was asked to give some number he set there are around 280 Spider-People in the movie. During an interview, the director of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse Thompson said,

The exact number? Oh boy, we kept adding, like all the way up until the very end. Honestly, I’m gonna be level with you, we just finished the film, like in the last like two weeks, and I don’t think I’ve had time to pause and actually take a final count. But I think it was about 280 the last time I looked in.”

He further added,

Just to be clear, that doesn’t mean specific, unique characters that you might recognize, it might mean variations as well. But if you’re just talking about named characters, then I think there’s probably about 95.”
