Recently, in an interview with Ruliweb, Kim was asked about the game. He stated that the gaming industry needs single-player console titles that have a proper ending. Stellar Blade is not going to be a live-service title with several microtransactions and no ending.

Despite the low success rate of single-player console games ending, Kim has assured that Shift Up will continue to take on the challenge and will make them in the future. That’s why he has said, We have a strong desire to continue to create games that allow many gamers to enjoy them to the end and return to reality feeling good.”

Kim said he got advice from people to make games with higher profits, which means live service titles. But he refused it, and for the welfare of the industry, he will continue to make single-player console titles with proper endings. Hence, it’s clear that the sequel to Stellar Blade will also be like its predecessor.

This game supports resolutions up to 4K, and that too with 60 fps in balanced mode. In performance mode, it goes up to 1440p at a framerate of 60fps. It’s good to see both resolutions support 60 fps, unlike some Xbox titles that don’t. According to Kim, as an action-adventure title, maintaining the frame rate is most important.
