The game is likely to be popular among both casual gamers and fans of the genre. However, there could be a game that looks as if it may surpass it in popularity as the best Soulslike game of April.

Another Title May Knock Stellar Blade Off the Top Spot

Stellar Blade is set for release on April 26th; however, there may already be a game bidding for its throne.

The game in question is the new title No Rest for the Wicked by publisher Moon Studios, it has a release date not too far from the aforementioned Stellar Blade but is already available to players on early access as of April 18th.

While both of these games belong to the same genre, they are very different in the way they present their stories. Stellar Blade focuses on a future in which aliens have driven humanity from Earth after a war, following the main protagonist’s journey fighting off the alien forces to reclaim their home, meeting a fellow survivor, and regrouping with the only humans left on Earth.

The story of No Rest for the Wicked, however, follows a far different story, following the story of a holy warrior in the distant past who must travel to an island in order to investigate a mysterious plague that is cursing the islanders.

The One that’s Taking the Crown

No Rest for the Wicked should not be overlooked as potentially the best Soulslike game of April.

While both of these titles appear impressive in both storytelling and design due to both games releasing for the same genre in the same month, there is bound to be competition between them, as is the nature of the video game market, but it is now in the hands of the players to decide a winner between them.

It is clear from trailers and early gameplay clips that both teams have put their hearts and souls into these titles, and now they must wait to see how their hard work pays off with those who matter, the consumers. It looks to be an interesting turnout, and hopefully, one that all players can agree is the right decision. The court of public opinion will surely have its say by the end of the month.

With both games being released so close together, it will be a very close battle between these two stunning games. Now players have a choice: become a futuristic freedom fighter or a medieval healer. Either way, both games are set to give players experiences they are sure to remember for a long time to come.

Are you team Stellar Blade or team No Rest for the Wicked? Will you play both, let us know in the comments.
