Crossovers in anime are rare to find but just as appreciated. Works such as that of Naruto, Dragon Ball, and One Piece take up the lot to stand as perhaps the greatest in the anime industry. Crossovers for such are rare to find, most of which are unofficial or fanmade. However, the same cannot be said for an upcoming Netflix anime. One that makes many fans’ dreams come true.
One platform took up the opportunity to bring together the worlds of Baki Hanma and Kengan Ashura. Two of the most beloved martial arts anime ignite the feeling of thrill within fans who want a roaring face-off between two of the most beloved fighters. Therefore, the ongoing question of who is stronger would finally be answered.
Netflix Gives the Fans What They Want
Ever since Baki Hanma and Kengan Ashura came out, one question has been lingering in the fans’ minds – who is the stronger of the lot? While hypothetically the question was thrown about on many websites such as X and Reddit, there was never a canonical way of answering the question. However, all of that is about to change.
Netflix recently released the much-awaited trailer for the crossover. There aren’t many crossovers anime fans can find themselves enjoying without them being a compilation of fan edits. That all gets put to the side with the upcoming anime. The release date for the same was also announced to be the 6th of June.
Three fights that have been hinted at include Saw Paing Yoroizuka VS Kaoru Hanayama, Raian Kure VS Jack Hammer, and last but not least, the main characters of their individual series, Baki Hanma VS Ohma Tokita.
Netflix Kicks It Up a Notch
Fans have since been overjoyed with the news. The trailer in itself has managed to catch their attention in the best possible way. They are more than excited to finally get a glimpse of what the anime has prepared for them. The crossover has been one of the most awaited, seeing that Death Battles may occur from time to time, but none goes about being as canonical as an anime dedicated to the same. Needless to say, not even One Piece, Dragon Ball or Naruto has given them what this will.
It would put to rest any debate with regard to who is a stronger fighter, Baki Hanma or Ohma Tokita. Either way, there would be a winner and a loser. That means, there would be fans who would be disappointed and those who would be satisfied.
Split between the two, that is where sportsmanship comes into play. Taking into consideration the sport that will take things up a notch in the way every fan wants.
