During an interview, the Arrow actor enthusiastically discussed the show’s second season and the seamless integration of real-life wrestling into its production. He said.

“I mean, obviously we’re a little less than two months away from it coming out, so we still have a little bit of time, but we’re kicking around some ideas.”

Moreover, he considered the possibilities of collaborating with both WWE and AEW, drawing upon his associations with Cody Rhodes and CM Punk.

The Flash performer disclosed his ongoing involvement with WWE on a confidential project while entertaining potential future collaborations with AEW. He shared,

“I also am involved in a project for the WWE that comes out right around the same time that the second season of Heels comes out.” 

Amell also opened up on his recent discussions about the DCU recasting, adding yet another mesmerizing layer to his dynamic career.

After portraying Green Arrow in the Arrowverse since 2012, the Canadian artist has expressed his strong sentiments regarding James Gunn’s recasting of the character in the new DC Universe.

With the Arrowverse and the DCU coming to an end, DC Studios, now under the leadership of Gunn and Peter Safran, are crafting a fresh franchise.

As the studio plans for the future, the question of who will embody the new generation of DC superheroes becomes increasingly relevant.

Amell, who played a key role in establishing the Arrowverse and expanding The CW’s superhero universe, recently discussed the evolution of these properties and the inevitability of another actor assuming the role of Oliver Queen in future DC projects. He revealed,

“Now, I get the proximity and stuff like that, but there will be another Oliver Queen. There will and it’ll be new and cool and exciting and however much the internet hates it is probably a direct indication as to how good it’s going to be.”

While acknowledging the upcoming transition, he eagerly awaits the exciting new directions that DC Studios will take with the Emerald Archer.
