Steven Seagal is perhaps one of the most hated actors in the film industry. Falling in the category of people with very controversial reputations, there are very few people who can tolerate Seagal, let alone like him. Outside of being accused of some truly disgusting things, many actors have also claimed that the actor has acted inappropriately and rudely with them. He has also said some rather questionable things during interviews about other people in the industry.

12. Andrew David
Andrew Davis, who is most famously responsible for putting Steven Seagal on the map through his direction in films like Above the Law, and Under Siege, is not all too fond of the actor who helped him establish his own career. The director revealed that he did not want to do Under Siege purely for the reason that he did not want to work with Seagal again. Though he ultimately agreed to do the project, which helped him make a movie with Harrison Ford, the two have never worked together since.
11. Jenny McCarthy
Jenny McCarthy once revealed that she auditioned for a role in Seagals 1995 movie, Under Siege 2, but did not see it through after Seagal once asked the actress and model to take her clothes off in front of his, stating that the movie required nudity. After McCarthy stated the role did not require nudity, Seagal told her that it required off-camera nudity. Right as McCarthy was storming out of there, Seagal threatened her, telling her that this better stay between the two.

Among a long list of women who have accused Steven Seagal of s-xual harassment, Portia de Rossi is one of the. The former actress revealed that the last time she tried to audition for a Seagal movie, he has unzipped his pants in front of her in order to check their ‘on-screen chemistry’. When she ran out of the room and called her agent, she told her that she wasn’t aware that Seagal wasn’t Rossi’s type.
9. Ronda Rousey
There is a famous story that a stunt double named Gene LeBell once choked out Steven Seagal to the point that he ended up passing out, but not before soiling himself. While Seagal has denied this on multiple occasions, calling LeBell a liar, WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey, who is a student of LeBell was not having it. She once threatened Seagal, stating that if he ever said anything bad about her teacher in front of her, she would make him soil his pants again.
8. John Leguizamo
When John Leguizamo and Steven Seagal worked on Executive Decision together, the martial artist and actor walked up to Leguizamo on the first day of filming and told him that he was the commander and where ever he said was the law. Naturally, Leguizamo thought that he was joking and gave a little laugh, only to be pinned against a wall by Seagal and have the wind knocked out of him. While The Menu actor could not say anything to him at the moment, he did add later on that Seagal was a horrible, big man who ran like a girl.
7. The Entire Cast Of Saturday Night Live
Seagal’s appearances on Saturday Night Live are perhaps one of the most infamously disastrous episodes in the entire run of the series. It would seem that during the rehearsal process, Seagal made sure that any jokes that made fun of him were removed and wanted to instead have a skit where he played a therapist who r*pes his patient while they are under hypnosis. This obviously did not happen and the producers almost considered removing Seagal and not having a guest star at all.
6. Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba once revealed that while she was filming Machete with Seagal, she hurt Seagal’s feelings when she called him an actor, as at the time he was a reserve deputy sheriff in Louisiana. The actor got angry at her, saying that he was an officer of the law and she should be referring to him accordingly. When Alba apologized for this, saying that she had no intention of offending the actor, he told her that it was okay that she offended him.
5. Liam Neeson
Liam Neeson told Jimmy Kimmel that he was once caught off guard when an interviewer asked him what had to say about the fact that Steven Seagal said that Neeson does not know how to throw a punch. Nelson, who is well-trained in boxing, explained that he knows how to throw a punch very well and then roasted Seagal, stating that his hair looks his it is being dyed by Stevie Wonder
4. Kathrine Heigl
Katherine Heigl once appeared in Steven Seagal’s Under Siege 2, at the age of sixteen, where she played his niece. Despite the massive age gap and the fact that Heigl was underage, Seagal made a pass at her, telling her that he had girlfriends her age. When Heigl told him that that was illegal, he said that they did not seem to mind it, which resulted in Heigl calling her mother. This is not an isolated incident as there is also a picture of the two together on the red carpet event for the film where Seagal has his hand on Heigl’s chest.

Charlize Theron once publically questioned Seagal’s fighting skills, something the actor is very sensitive about. She stated that she does not think that Seagal actually fights people, instead using his body weight and pushing people around. When asked if she minded saying negative things about the actor, Theron stated that she absolutely did not as Seagal is not nice to women.

Pamela Anderson once revealed that during an audition, Seagal propositioned Anderson to sleep with him to get the role that she wanted. When she refused, the actor told the actress that if she did not take her up on this, someone else who wanted the role would. To this, Anderson told him that that is good for him and left.

Jean-Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal’s feud is quite well known in Hollywood, starting after Seagal went on a number of interviews stating that Van Damme did not know how to fight. After a while of this, Van Damme had had enough and asked Seagal to test his theory, initiating a fight in the middle of a party. Seagal found an excuse and ran off from there. Van Damme found him and propositioned again but Seagal did not want to be a part of it.
