Steven Seagal was a well-recognized actor between the 80s to the 00s for his roles in action movies. He has starred in movies like Under Siege, Hard to Kill, and Out for Justice. Though he was not very unique in his capabilities to act, he was well-known and did well for himself. This all however chained after news broke out about the type of person Seagal actually is.

It was revealed that Seagal is in actuality a horrible person. Many, many women came out, accusing him of s*xually assaulting them. He would cause problems on set with directors and be a straight-out nightmare on set. He even broke Sean Connery’s wrist on set. These are just the tip of the iceberg of the things that he has done that eventually led him to have to retire from Hollywood and move out of the USA.

Steven Seagal Accused of S*xual Assult By 4 Assistants

One of the most disturbing chapters of Steven Seagal’s story is perhaps the many sexual misconduct allegation under his name. From being accused of s*xual misconduct to even assault, he has been accused by Julianna Margulies, Jenny McCarthy, Portia De Rossi, and even Pamela Anderson. But it was not just actors who fell prey to Seagal.

On the set of 1991, Out for Justice, Four different women, Raeanne Malone, Nicole Selinger, Christine Keever, and an unnamed woman, quit during filming due to Seagal’s “Continued Piggery,” as per Spy magazine. As per the story, He went out of his way to make crude and lascivious remarks toward these women. Three of these four women threatened to sue. Two of these three women went on have sued him. They were paid $50,000 each and signed confidentiality agreements.

Where is Steven Seagal Right Now?

After these events, Steven Seagal was left without any work or respect. He was left with no other option than to leave Hollywood as well as the country. His father was from Russia and he was brought up in a house surrounded by Russian culture because of his mother. He has gone on to say that he grew up loving Russia and loving all of what he earned about it from a very early age. He so it was natural that he would move to the country.

Seagal has been a Russian citizen since 2016 and has been incredibly patriotic towards the country. He received a Russian passport from President Vladimir Putin personally. He has also been serving as a special envoy of the Russian Foreign Ministry for humanitarian relations with the US and Japan since 2018. He also received the Order of Friendship medal recently by Putin and has opened an Aikido center in Moscow.
