There’s that particular scene that gave chills to him. It’s none other than The Red Wedding. There’s no doubt that episode 9 of season 3 still remains the most shocking moment.

In this episode, the wedding goes peacefully until Walder Frey signals and Rains of Castamere starts playing. Within just a few seconds, the main characters were murdered, and the entire situation changed.

When Patrick J. Adams met Michelle Fairley (the actress who played Catelyn Stark in GOT), he didn’t actually know that The Red Wedding was coming.

Fairley played the character of Ava – a British entrepreneur who runs an international oil company and needs Harvey Specter’s legal help. When Access Hollywood (via HuffPost) asked the actor about Fairley during the press roundtable on the Suits set, he said:

“I did not know what was going to happen to her, but I had suspected [something] because in my fangirling, it was like trying to make conversation – ‘When are you going back to work? When are you gonna do that?’ And she was just like… ‘Ah. Well. We’ll go back…’ You could see her kind of stumbling over it and then I saw it in her eye and I just was like, ‘Stop. No more. I know.”

The actor added that he then “assumed that she was gonna go,” and he was like, “‘That’s OK. That’s OK to know.”

“And then, I obviously saw the Red Wedding the other day and it wasn’t just her, but the entire army of the North and it brutalized me.” he added. But the only thing that got him through was, “Well, at least get to go work with Michelle the next morning. That’s the nicest thing about it.”

Obviously, it was the end of Catelyn Stark. Catelyn died at the Red Wedding when a Bolton and Frey duo slit her throat.

After knowing that Catelyn wouldn’t return to the series, Patrick J. Adams was devastated. But the Suits star felt happy to work with Fairley as she’s the second member from Game of Thrones on the Suits cast (after Conleth Hill, aka Lord Varys, joined as Edward Darby in Season 2).

“It was incredible. It’s a different part for her. She’s such a lovely woman, with such an amazing sense of humor so I think it was a really good fit for her,” he said of having the Northern Irish actress on set (via Access Hollywood).
