“…Sources tell Deadline the Emmy winner is the latest addition to Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3… It is unknown who Macfadyen will be playing.”

Macfadyen’s performance as Tom was quite appreciated by the audience. The fact that he won an Emmy Award and a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama is enough proof of that. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman announce Deadpool 3

Deadpool 3 will be the franchise’s official entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is going to be directed by Shawn Levy who has previously worked with both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. While Jackman’s return as Wolverine already has fans hyped up for the release, the R-Rating of the film is like icing on the cake! The cast of the film also includes Zazie Beetz, Emma Corrin, and Leslie Uggams.

Since Wolverine met his end in the 2017 film Logan, Deadpool 3 will not touch that part of the storyline at all. Reynolds and Jackman released a video confirming that the upcoming film is a “totally separate thing” and stated that “Logan died in Logan; not touching that.” Jackman also talked about reprising his role in Deadpool 3 and where it all fits in the storyline. The actor stated on the Jess Cagle Show,

“It’s all because of this device they have in the Marvel world of moving around timelines. Now we can go back because, you know, it’s science. So, I don’t have to screw with the Logan timeline, which was important to me. And I think probably to the fans too.”

We are looking forward to seeing what the Deadpool 3 team has in store for us. And now with the cast slowly unraveling, the excitement is only reaching new heights with every update!
