It has only been a few hours since Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League began its early access for players around the world, and it is safe to say that gamers are not happy. After barely a few hours of being live, the game has already begun to glitch out and cause game-breaking bugs that are causing many players to riot.
At the time of writing, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been taken down for maintenance due to a game-breaking glitch that is causing many players a lot of grief. What makes this even worse is the fact that players have had to pay $100 for 72-hour early access, and they aren’t able to play the game.
What Is the Game-Breaking Glitch That Has Caused Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to Shut Down?
Currently, there is no information as to what is causing the glitch that is breaking the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game, but it is safe to say that after this glitch is finally resolved, Rocksteady will have a lot on its plate to try and fix this situation and get back in the gaming community’s good graces.
At the moment, the only information that has been revealed about this glitch is currently available on Twitter/X, which describes that the game is currently experiencing an issue that causes new players who are logging into the game to essentially skip to the end of the game somehow.
There is no better description than a game-breaking glitch, when a glitch literally causes you to skip the entire campaign of the game you are really looking forward to playing. But Rocksteady is already working on a fix for this issue, but that has caused just as many issues as it fixes.
The reason this has caused more issues is due to the fact that the game has been shut down for maintenance in an attempt to fix this issue before it can cause more chaos. Unfortunately, this goal wasn’t achieved as Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an online-only game, which means even if you are playing alone, you will still be unable to play the game as it constantly requires an online server to operate.
So far, this has caused more issues than the game-breaking glitch, as there is an uproar from the gaming community, as those who have paid so much money to play a game early are now having to twiddle their thumbs as they wait for the servers to re-open, which according to Rocksteady’s tweet could take multiple hours.
How Will This Affect the Rest of the Game’s Launch?
Understandably, many gamers are now going to be a lot more wary about purchasing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, if they haven’t already. Which is perfectly reasonable, as there have clearly been a lot of issues regarding this title since it was announced all those years ago, and this is just the icing on top of the cake.
Unless Rocksteady is willing to throw a lot of in-game currency or content towards those affected by this glitch, there will most likely be a revolt from players as they will more than likely begin to review bomb the game on services like Steam, and there are completely understandable reasons as to why they would do that.
At the moment, we can only assume that the rest of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League‘s launch will be quite rocky, as there could be even more surprises in store for players to come across, as gamers haven’t even accessed the game yet and may discover even more glitches that are waiting to break the game.
