The Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas will host the Super Bowl LVIII game between Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers on Sunday night. The most high-profile guest at the event would be Taylor Swift, who would fly back from her Eras Tour in Japan to watch her boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Chiefs. It is speculated that Swift will buy the most expensive suite ticket at the stadium, which costs more than the salaries of many NFL stars.
The speculation rises amidst the news that Kelce’s mom Donna Kelce has announced ditching the high-priced boxes for a seat in the stands. Donna is not the first mom to call out the multi-million dollar suits as San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey’s mom also criticized the “stupidly expensive” luxury suites.
Taylor Swift May Buy The Most Expensive Super Bowl Suite To See Travis Kelce Play
According to ticket site TickPick, the ticket prices for Super Bowl LVIII held for the first time in Las Vegas are the most expensive in history. The cheapest tickets range from $7000-$9000, which is comparatively more expensive than last year’s average price of $5795 at Super Bowl LVII. Suites at the Allegiant Stadium begin at $1.4 million and range all the way up to $2.5 million for an Owner’s Club Suite.
According to Daily Mail, hospitality provider Suite Experience Group revealed that the prices for the suites have dropped since, with the costliest now available at $1.8 million. Fans speculate that Taylor Swift may have purchased the most expensive suite from the three tiers, the facilities of which include 20 tickets, two parking passes, and a food and beverage package. Luke Sawhook, who covers NFL content, posted a glimpse of the million-dollar luxury in the suite on his X account.

According to Sawhook, the luxurious spread of the food and beverage package includes—souvenir popcorn, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, BBQ burnt-end burritos, a glazed donut Super Bowl sundae, carne asada fries, seafood stuffed potatoes, surf and turf nachos, wagyu beef hotdogs, frozen cheesecakes, and a full-service bar. Taylor Swift, who just touched the billion-dollar mark on her net worth, could easily afford the most luxurious suite in the Super Bowl.
However, the same could put a dent in the earnings of several NFL players. According to Spotrac, Chiefs players like Trent McDuffie, Creed Humphrey, Nick Bolton, and many others earn much less in base salary than the luxury suites. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy only earns a base salary of $934,000, a situation not too different for other 49ers players.
Family members of several players of both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have to opt for the stands due to the pricey boxes.
Travis Kelce’s Mom Would Be Watching The Game From The Stands
Donna Kelce was seen celebrating her son’s wins with Taylor Swift during multiple games this season. However, Mama Kelce is not happy with the highly-priced tickets for suites at Allegiant Stadium. Kelce shared with TODAY on Wednesday that she might be opting for the stands to watch Travis Kelce‘s game in the upcoming Super Bowl. She shared with TODAY:
“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multimillion dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box. I have a feeling I am in the stands. As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everybody else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”
It remains unclear whether Donna Kelce will take up on Swift’s offer to join her in a suite if the Cruel Summer singer were to buy the tickets. Another mom has already turned down that offer from her son’s girlfriend. San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey’s mom, Lisa McCaffrey, jokingly shared on the Your Mom podcast that none of them could afford the suites. She shared, “Not even Christian, moneybags over there — nor moneybags Olivia.”
Christian McCaffrey is engaged to model Olivia Culpo, who later announced on social media that she would buy the family a suite. However, McCaffrey told Extra TV that he had asked Culpo to “nix” the plan as he would “not let anybody pay to watch me play.” It appears that a lot of drama is already unfolding due to the record price of the suites at Super Bowl LVIII.
