According to the list shared by the Oscars, two MCU movies made it to the narrowed-down list of top 10 finalists. One among them is James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Congratulating his VFX team on X for their hard work and dedication towards Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn was asked if the same VFX team will work on his upcoming Superman: Legacy. Revealing how his upcoming Superman: Legacy will have the same VFX team as his Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, James Gunn noted the interesting connection between the two films. He had previously revealed bringing the same crew members from MCU, to help with his DC project, during his interview on the Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum podcast.
