Sylvester Stallone broke up with Jennifer Flavin after being together for almost six years in a rather unusual fashion. The actor ended their relationship by sending her a letter through Federal Express. According to Flavin, Stallone sent her a six-page handwritten letter, which she described as messy.

Flavin told People:

“He sent me a six-page handwritten letter, in pen. It was pretty sloppy.”

After a few days of the breakup, Flavin found out the real reason why Stallone broke up with her. Shea learned from her agent at the Elite modeling agency that the Rocky star had been involved in a relationship with supermodel Janice Dickinson. Soon, there were rumors hinting that the baby girl born to Dickinson was Stallone’s child.

Flavin expressed her disappointment, saying it was an overwhelming and sudden realization. She had no idea this would occur, especially after having discussed starting a family with Stallone. The couple had even started considering names.

Flavin added: 

“It hit me like a ton of bricks. I had no idea this was going to happen. We talked about us having children, about when I was going to get pregnant. We were already picking names, marking down names that he liked and I liked.”

After a paternity test revealed that Stallone was not the biological father of Dickinson’s daughter, Stallone decided to end things with the supermodel.
