Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder did not make for happy fans and the movie had been highly criticized. It had its good parts but it also had its bad parts, those which had been more overwhelming than the positive aspects of the movie. Any window of opportunity that the movie had to connect with the audience quickly diminished in some odd way.

However, one thing the movie did manage to do was introduce a vast variety of new characters. This included Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, Zeus, Hercules and so many more. Not only that, but it allowed us to witness Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor in theatres. Although, those weren’t the only characters meant to appear in the movie.

Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love And Thunder Was Going To Introduce Galactus

Among the many heroes and villains in the comics, one that has been highly demanded by fans to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is Galactus. And Taika Waititi had almost made it possible for the character to make its MCU debut. The concept art of the movie showed many different characters making their way into multiple scenes. Some were fighting while some were merely a part of it.

This included Galactus, who was seen fighting Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor. This never made it into the movie, much like the other times that Galactus had been hinted to become a part of the franchise soon. Fans have been waiting for a long time to see the character and will continue to do so until they see him in the MCU.

The artwork had many other villains like Shuma-Gorath and Fin Fang Foom, both fighting Mighty Thor. This might have been an attempt to build her name as a hero throughout the universe. Her story ended with the character being deemed a hero to many and to see her fight all these characters and win against them would truly have established that more.

Thor: Love And Thunder Made Jane Foster A Hero

Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster was first introduced in Thor as a curious scientist and doctor eager to get her questions answered. This curiosity further grew after she met with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, making both fall in love with each other almost immediately.

The journey, later on, saw the character grow more in her career and as a researcher. While she was not a part of the third part of the series, she made a strong comeback. Dr. Jane very quickly went from a curious scientist to a scientist who wanted to cure cancer, her own to be specific, and then finally became a hero to the people of Asgard and the entire universe.
