So far, many gamers have given a lot of positive feedback to the developers of Tekken 8, which is very good news, this has slightly concerned the developers as they feel it is too overwhelming as positive feedback, but they are still receiving some feedback which isn’t so positive which will help them fix issues in the final release of the game whenever that may be.

So far, the PlayStation 5 tests aren’t the only tests taking place as there was also a test during San Diego Comic Con which many gamers took part in and have given a lot of feedback during the event. Still, most of the feedback has been in regards to the PlayStation 5 Closed Network Test, as many players have given feedback in regards to the online tests that they have been taking part in, saying that the online portion of the game so far works rather well and that they are enjoying the brand new mechanics which are involved in this new edition.

At the moment, this will not be the last Closed Network Test as the director has also confirmed that there will be another Closed Network Test which will be taking place on numerous consoles like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, which will be taking place on July 28th till July 31st and is unfortunately fully booked in regards to signing up. Still, this test will be mainly used to test the cross-play, which will be coming in the full game when it is released, so they are looking to test that out during this Closed Network Test.

What will be accessible during the Closed Network Test?

So far, all we know is that the same content will be available in the next Closed Network Test as the first, but this will also include cross-play to help them test how it runs in a real situation. So far, the only content that is accessible will be online battles with other players through online play to help test out the new battle mechanics and the characters; no story gameplay will be accessible during this test, so there is no chance that it can be leaked through these tests.

So far, there isn’t a release date for Tekken 8, and there is no information saying that it will release soon, but these tests do show that the developers are getting close to a final product, and they feel it is somewhat ready to start showing it off to the public which is a good sign for a relatively soon release of this highly anticipated release in this long-running fighting game franchise.
