Compared to his other movies, Arnold Schwarzenegger played a slightly different role in his much-loved movie, Kindergarten Cop. Portraying the character of Detective John Kimble, an undercover agent working as a kindergarten teacher, the action hero didn’t fail to win his fans’ hearts.

However, since this movie doesn’t have many action-thriller and fighting scenes in the movie unlike The Terminator movie series, it appealed to the audience slightly less than Arnold Schwarzenegger’s other films, also severing the movie’s ratings a bit.

But even though Kindergarten Cop didn’t get as much acclamation as The Terminator, the movie still ended up making nearly 7 times its budget. With its production budget being $26M, the action-comedy managed to gross $202M worldwide, which might also be a reason behind Arnold Schwarzenegger’s peculiar ‘favorite movie’ choice.

You can watch Kindergarten Cop on Netflix.
