Ashton Kutcher has been in the entertainment industry for more than twenty years. He has been part of many pop culture markers such as Punk’d and That 70s Show. However, the actor seems to be unaware of most things that are happening in the current age.

In an interview with Jimmy Fallon, while promoting his romantic comedy Your Place or Mine, Kutcher spoke about an incident where he and his wife Mila Kunis attended a birthday party of a neighbor,

“…they had a Karaoke party. We’re sitting there, and this guy gets up and he starts singing this ABBA song. And he was unbelievable. I was like, ‘This guy’s like – he’s really good’. Then we turn to our friend and we’re like, ‘Man, that guy is really good.’ And they’re like, ‘That’s Harry Styles’…But I didn’t know who that was. I’m so pop culture anemic in my life.”

The actor also went on to say that the incident occurred eight years ago, back when Styles was still a part of One Direction, which Kutcher hilariously referred to as ‘a D12 band’. The actor says that he now knows who the Grammy award-winning musician is, talking about the singer’s Watermelon Sugar
