Johansson especially pointed out one annoying habit, claiming that Hemsworth spends too much time in hair and makeup. She roasted him saying,

Chris Hemsworth is playing the villain Dementus in the upcoming Mad Max prequel film Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga led by Anya Taylor-Joy. The film is set 15 years before Mad Max: Fury Road with Taylor-Joy playing the younger version of Charlize Theron’s character Imperator Furiosa.

The cast and director George Miller made an appearance at the recent CCXP event in Brazil where Hemsworth shared his experience of playing the villain in the film and how different it felt to play a manipulative antagonist. He said,

“He’s a complicated individual the character I play. He’s a very violent, insane, brutal person who is born from the Wasteland, which is the world in which the Mad Max saga takes place. And he’s a product of his environment, and there’s an intensity to him.

As I said there’s a brutality, but he has been birthed into a space where it’s kill or be killed and he’s learned to rule with an iron fist. There’s a charisma to him, and it’s a very manipulative charisma. So it was a lot of fun to play with, something very different than I had experienced before.”

The film’s trailer was recently released and it got fans hyped for the film with its grand visuals, gritty action sequences, and the nostalgic vibe of the franchise. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is scheduled to hit theaters on May 24, 2024.
