Lupita Nyong’o is known for her range as an actress, having played a wide variety of roles in her career. In 2019, Lupita Nyong’o took on a different kind of role in the horror-comedy film Little Monsters. Directed by Abe Forsythe, the movie is a unique take on the zombie genre. And this is the movie Nyong’o talked about where she faced many difficulties while shooting.
In an interview with Collider, she was asked which movie shot she thinks is the hardest. Of the entire role she played, she picked this movie called Little Monsters, also starring Josh Gad as Teddy McGiggle.
“Of all the movies I’ve worked on? Wow. Shot that was hard to shoot. My God. Well, I did this movie in Australia called Little Monsters, and it had music, children, animals,” she stated.
She continued:
“You could imagine how tough it was to get all those things to cooperate. So I can’t remember one shot, but I just remember that movie was hard to make. And sometimes we were shooting without the children, and I had to sing to an open space. It was wild.”
In the movie, she plays the character of Miss Caroline, a kindergarten teacher on a seemingly normal field trip to a petting zoo that takes a sudden and terrifying turn when a zombie outbreak ensues.

Selema Masekela is a South African-American television host, producer, and sports commentator. In December 2022 Lupita Nyong’o and Selema Masekela made their relationship official.
