In one such hilarious interview, the actor talked about how he was influenced by movies when he was a kid. Stating that he was inspired by Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo: First Blood, Ryan Gosling revealed that he threw knives at his class kids to show off his Rambo skills.

Ryan Gosling Was Inspired By Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo

It does seem that actors are not born but made. Watching Sylvester Stallone movies and other iconic actions from the 1980s and 1990s, Ryan Gosling was a kid who liked to see Hollywood movies.

In a hilarious interview, the actor talked about how he watched First Blood starring Sylvester Stallone, and the effect that it had on his young mind. The actor revealed that he took a bunch of knives in his backpack and threw them in his classroom. Luckily, no one was injured and the La La Land actor was suspended from school for a time.

“When I was a kid I saw Rambo First Blood. The movie put a spell on me and I though I was Rambo and I even thought my face felt like Sylvester Stallone’s and I put a bunch of steak knives in my Fisher Price Houdini Kit”

He further continued,

“I took it to school the next day and I threw them at al the kids at recess and I got suspended and I didn’t hit anybody”

As the interview progressed, Ryan Gosling revealed how he got eventually suspended from the school.

After the whole ordeal, Ryan Gosling’s parents came up with a new and unique rule for their child. Stating that he was only allowed to watch Bible movies and National Geographic, it seems quite impossible that the actor was able to star in The Gray Man later on in his career.

“I don’t think it’s cool but my parents like ‘this guy can’t watch movies, you know? They have too much of an effect on him’. So I could only watch Bible movies and National Geographic movies”

In the end, the actor did find his way into Hollywood eventually and even starred in action and romance movies. The actor was last seen in the billion-dollar grosser movie Barbie. The 2023 movie is currently screening in select theaters across the country.
