It’s something that I think people can get something out of, because tragedy is going to hit all of us at some point. It’s just a matter of when.
Describing the film as a folk song, he emphasized that the indie drama is quiet and gentle while asserting that it contrasts with the more eccentric perceptions people might have of him. He also expressed satisfaction with his performance in the movie.
“I’d never done anything like that before,” he said before adding, “I felt like I got close to putting a meditation on camera, or a haiku.” Michael Sarnoski’s 2021 film follows Cage in the role of a reclusive truffle hunter, who embarks on a journey to find his stolen Pig.
