The actors’ chemistry and back-and-forth have been the highlight of the Deadpool & Wolverine promotional tour that the duo had embarked on before the film’s release.
However, this time, Reynolds may have taken this practice of roasting his friend a bit too far. The actors attended a fan event recently in Seoul and interacted with fans while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine. While interacting with the host, Reynolds and Jackman were asked to make a hand-heart symbol together for the fans.
While Jackman was ready with his part of the symbol, Reynolds seemed to be initially dismissive about it. Fans were quick to see Jackman’s heartbroken reaction to Reynolds’ rebuttal.

Hugh Jackman Roasted Ryan Reynolds’ Musical Role In Spirited
While Ryan Reynolds may have had the upper hand in making jokes at Hugh Jackman’s expense in both the films and in real life, the Prisoners star is not too far behind himself. The actor has given strong responses to Reynolds’ mocking and their constant back-and-forth is what makes their appearances so hilarious.
Years ago when Ryan Reynolds starred along with Will Farrell in the Christmas musical comedy Spirited, Jackman promoted the film in his own humorous way. Putting up a video on Instagram, the Logan star begged the Academy to not nominate Reynolds for Best Original Song. He said,
Ryan Reynolds getting a nomination in the Best Song category would make the next year of my life insufferable. I have to spend a year with him shooting ‘Wolverine and Deadpool’ and trust me, it would be impossible. It would be a problem.
Jackman, who is himself a musician aficionado, reportedly complimented other members of the cast and crew but urged the Academy to not validate Reynolds.
