The defamation trial of Heard and Depp has ended as each side made closing arguments on May 27, 2022. The verdict is awaited. The jury is reflecting after seeing photographs, hearing voice recordings, and sitting in court for weeks. The whole world is talking about this trial, with celebs coming forward with opinions and taking sides. Dominic Fike who plays Elliot in HBO’s hit series Euphoria has commented on Amber Heard. This has got him receiving backlash from fans.
Dominic Fike said He had visions of Amber Heard beating him, which he thinks is ‘Hot’
“Yo, I’m just gonna come straight out and say it. I’m gonna say it. I’m gonna be real with y’all, I think Amber Heard is hot, man,”
Fike continued, “I know it’s not a popular opinion, and it’s not the focus at the moment, dude, but I’ve been having these visions of her just beating me up. I think it’s hot.”
This immediately got fans to react, and the reaction was negative. Fans were furious and took to Twitter to share their feelings. A fan wrote on Twitter,
”Dominic Fike really thought he did something when he said he had visions of Amber Heard beating him up. When in a reality, he just made himself look like a twat and downright disrespectful by romanticising abuse, as if it’s something to brag about. Should be ashamed of himself!”
Another fan expressed on Twitter that Dominic Fike is disgusting and no matter how he views the trial, it’s a weird thing to say about a potential abuser. ”I wasnt really looking forward to Dominic Fike anyhow but hearing him say ‘i think amber heard is hot, i want her to hit me’ turned me tf off. that’s disgusting no matter how you view the trial and a weird thing to say about a potential abuser/victim.”
Fans are furious at Dominic Fike and we hope he realises his mistake and apologises publicly. The verdict for the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial is still awaited.
