The two got together after meeting on the set of the 1990 film Days of Thunder and got married within a year of starting their relationship. They were together for a decade before announcing their split in 2001 due to their career and busy schedule. While the exes are hardly seen talking about each other, Kidman’s ex-boyfriend has opened up about his split from the actress.
Marcus Graham has shared that he also dated the Australian actress in his 20s and was heartbroken after she broke things off with him once she met the Mission Impossible star.
Nicole Kidman’s Ex Opened Up About Their Split
During his recent interview with the Australian magazine Woman’s Day, Marcus Graham opened up about his relationship with actress Nicole Kidman. He shared that they dated in their early 20s, however, it was short-lived after the Big Little Lies actress met the action star and her ex-husband, Tom Cruise.
The E Street star shared that he was heartbroken after their relationship fell apart. “I was devastated and heartbroken but that’s the way it goes… Why would I want to keep her in Australia and lock her away?” he shared during his interview. Graham said that he was very young and was “really hurt and confused” after the split.
“I don’t have any bad feelings there and I understand. At the time I cried for a long time. I was really hurt and confused but I had lots to learn about the world.”
Despite their differences and the end of their relationship, the Good Guys, Bad Guys actor has said that he has nothing against The Undoing actress. While he is reportedly single right now, Kidman has settled into a married life with Keith Urban and has two children with the singer.
Nicole Kidman And Keith Urban Celebrate Their Anniversary
While her ex-boyfriend shared the pain of splitting up from Nicole Kidman, the actress is celebrating 17 years of marriage with her country-singer beau, Keith Urban. The Oscar winner has shared steamy pics with her husband wishing him a Happy Anniversary. She added the wish in the caption stating, “Happy Anniversary my Love.”
Earlier, the singer also paid tribute to his wife as he shared a birthday post for his wife. “To my gorgeous, sexy, adventurous, curious, nature loving, owl spotting, artist, wife: happy birthday baby !!!!!!” he mentioned in the caption. The couple initially started dating in 2005 and exchanged vows the following year in 2006. They have been happily married for 17 years and share two daughters Sydney Rose and Faith Margaret.
