Following her exit from the American sitcom, the actress voiced the character of Dana Tan in the 1999 animated series Batman Beyond. In an interview with Syfy, the actress revealed that she got the role of Dana Tan thanks to her fame by starring in FRIENDS!

“I think that job was only my second animated series. King of the Hill was first so at least I had a little bit under my belt. And I had just come off Friends so I think that because my name was in the zeitgeist a bit that’s why I got offered that role.”

She further continued,

“I knew that Batman was this huge, iconic show. And I just was praying that I wasn’t gonna screw it up too badly. I remember feeling like I loved the way they drew me because I was s*xier in that cartoon than I am in real life.”

Being one of the recurring characters in the American sitcom, it seemed somewhat suspicious how she was abruptly removed from the show. In a separate interview, Lauren Tom clarified the rumors about her exit from the iconic show.
